Now in its 35th season, the Western Reserve Chorale (WRC) harmoniously advances the joy of music in Northeast Ohio by providing free public concerts and an engaging opportunity for members to experience the challenge and camaraderie brought through rehearsing and performing a wide variety of choral works.
With over 100 singers from across Northeast Ohio, comprising various musical backgrounds, the WRC focuses on performing exciting works for chorus accompanied by very talented local musicians. The WRC’s repertoire encompasses many periods and styles, from classical to modern, and includes newly commissioned compositions.
The operation of the Chorale is overseen by the WRC Board, elected from the membership. Funding for the group comes from advertising, grants, donations, and member support. Annual member dues are set each year by the board, and are requested from each member at the beginning of the season. In the last few years we have obtained matching project grants from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, the Ohio Arts Council, and foundations including the AHS Foundation.
Western Reserve Chorale is a designated 501(c)(3), non-profit organization.
Please support us with your tax-deductible donation.
